According to Calciomercato.it, the Italy international has attracted the attention of Old Trafford giants and their manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The 30-year-old is having the season of a lifetime, scoring 30 goals in 33 competitive games between Serie A, the Coppa Italia, Europa League and Italian Supercup.

He is currently on track to set a new all-time record of Serie A goals in a single campaign, netting 27 in 26 appearances.

Immobile had already been linked with a move to the Premier League for Liverpool, where he’d reunite with his old Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp.

Napoli were also interested, as they are his hometown club.

However, with Lazio on the verge of qualifying for the Champions League, it’s very unlikely he would leave the Stadio Olimpico now.
