Transfer expert Florian Plettenberg reports Manchester United are ‘closely’ monitoring Milan left-back Theo Hernandez, even if their primary target remains Alphonso Davies.
According to the latest transfer report from Sky Sport Deutschland transfer expert Florian Plettenberg, Milan star defender Theo Hernandez is being closely monitored by Manchester United.
The reporter claims on X that Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies is Manchester United’s primary target, but the signing of the Canada international will be ‘difficult to realise.’

New Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has prioritised the search for a left-back at Old Trafford, and Theo is on the Red Devils’ list alongside others.
However, according to Plettenberg, Theo has been ‘closely monitored’ by the Red Devils lately, so his name seems to be high on United’s agenda.
Theo remains in talks to extend his Milan contract, which will expire in June 2026.
His agent reportedly met Milan representatives earlier this month to discuss a new deal until 2029.
The France international will start in the Rossoneri defence in today’s Champions League match against Slovan Bratislava.
