“I am flattered and it’s pleasing to know, but I am concentrated only on Napoli and proving what I can do on the pitch. There is a lot of motivation for me at Napoli, we want to prove we’re at the top level and I want to keep improving here.”
Despite those comments, the English newspapers continue to push the story that Koulibaly wants a Premier League switch.
While Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City have also been linked, Manchester United remain the most committed with The Sun claiming new Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given the all-clear to a £90m bid.
The 27-year-old centre-back only signed a new contract with Napoli in September that runs to June 2023.
