Inter are reportedly ready to offer €5m per season to France international Marcus Thuram, who will be available as a free agent in July.

Thuram is unlikely to extend his expiring contract with Borussia Monchengladbach and has attracted the interest of many European clubs, including Inter, Juventus, Newcastle and Manchester United.

According to Gazzetta, the Nerazzurri have already scheduled a meeting with Thuram’s entourage in January during which they will make their contract offer for the 25-year-old who was born in Parma in 1997 when his father Lilian was playing for the Ducali.

Inter will reportedly offer a €5m-a-year deal for the next five years but are aware that offers from the Premier League could be more lucrative. Newcastle are monitoring the France international and would even be ready to sign him for a low transfer fee in January.

However, according to the report, Thuram is in no rush to leave his club and is currently not considering leaving in January.
