Man United fans call for Conte as Red Devils suffer humiliating defeat against Liverpool

Many see the former Chelsea, Juventus and Inter tactician as the No.1 candidate to take over at Old Trafford.

According to SportItalia’s Gianluigi Longari, the Manchester United job is Conte’s first option for his future, although it remains to be seen whether or not the former midfielder would accept the job now.

Fabrizio Romano reported earlier this month that Conte would only be open to getting a new job at the end of the season.

Manchester United haven’t made a decision about the future of Solskjaer, but the former striker is under pressure after collecting just 14 points in nine Premier League games so far.

5 thought on “Man United job a priority for Conte”
  1. He’ll certainly make them more compact, organized and diificult to beat. The only problems I see are whether the Utd fans will appreciate his rigid approach. The squad has too many wide forwards for his favored 352. How will Ronaldo respond to Conte’s demanding ways; he won’t want to track back. I suspect that Cavani is much more a Conte player.

    Utd under Conte? De Gea
    Lindelof, Varane, Mcguire
    Wan-Bissaka, McTominay, Matic, Pogba, Shaw
    Fernandes
    Cavani/Ronaldo

  2. For god sake people he had Chiellini, Bonucci, Barzagli, Skriniar, De Vrij and Bastoni to coach.
How is he going to coach Harry Maguire. He can only head the ball from corners and set pieces. His nickname is slab head for a reason. Typical English defender, overhyped by the English media, overpaid and pure garbage. His tangle with another clueless player Luke Shaw was priceless. Conte should not go there, terrible weather, dark at 2pm and looks worse then Kosovo. They only play well for England as for some reason the God’s keep giving them lucky draws and they use the power of English fluke magic.

  3. The damage might be already done for United this season.

City, Chelsea, Liverpool will get the top 3. The league is now a 3-dog fight.

If he does go there he’s going to have to finish AT WORST 4th this year and maybe win 1 Round in the UCL.

If Ole remains, they could drop to 6th or 7th and out of the UCL for next year.
