Antonio Conte is trending on Twitter in the UK with many Manchester United fans calling for his appointment to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after a 5-0 home defeat to Liverpool.
Manchester United have suffered a 5-0 defeat at Old Trafford, with the first four goals scored by the Reds in the first half.
That’s why many Red Devils fans are calling for Solskjaer’s sacking on social media, seeing Conte as the No.1 replacement.
The Italian tactician left Inter in the summer after winning the first Serie A title in 11 years with the Nerazzurri.
He is currently working as a pundit for Sky Sport Italia, and according to reports in Italy he is not willing to get a job in the middle of the campaign, preferring to join a new club in the summer.
Newcastle have also emerged as an option for the former midfielder and the Premier League seems to be the most likely destination for the former Chelsea, Inter and Juventus coach.
