Intermediaries have reportedly suggested a form of swap deal between Inter and Premier League side Manchester United involving right-backs Denzel Dumfries and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to Wednesday’s updates.

What was said about Dumfries/Wan-Bissaka swap between Inter and Man United

According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, intermediaries have suggested a possible switch involving Dumfries and Wan-Bissaka, but there have not yet been any advanced talks between their two clubs.

The suggestion was mentioned in an article linking West Ham United with a move for Bayern Munich defender Noussair Mazraoui. United were also keen on the Morocco international, but Ornstein reports that they would first have to move Wan-Bissaka on before adding any more defenders this summer.

That is where Inter come in. Wan-Bissaka had also been offered to West Ham, but he would reportedly prefer a move to Inter.

The Crystal Palace graduate’s contract is due to expire next summer, so he could also theoretically join the Nerazzurri in 12 months time on a free transfer.

Dumfries, meanwhile, has been linked with a move to Old Trafford at various stages over the past 12 months. He also has 12 months remaining on his current deal with Inter, but the Nerazzurri are still confident of agreeing a new deal with the Netherlands international, according to recent reports.

  1. ‘have reportedly suggested’
This is almost like ‘my friend who is currently at bournemouth saw Lionel Messi’s best friend on the beach, so we’re expecting Messi to sign for the cherries any day now.

  2. I wonder was this friend at the beach to get fish and chips and if so you mean you expanded your cod empire lol.
