Tammy Abraham had an incredible debut season with Roma and now both Manchester United and Arsenal are keen to bring him back to the Premier League.

The 24-year-old English striker joined the Giallorossi last summer from Chelsea in a deal worth around €40m, signing a five-year contract. Things immediately clicked with Jose Mourinho and he shone this season in the Italian capital, netting 26 goals in 52 appearances across all competitions, including an English record of 17 Serie A goals.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, both Manchester United and Arsenal are interested in signing Abraham this summer, but it’ll be hard for them to pry him from Roma as Mourinho considers him unsellable.

Abraham is happy in the Italian capital and it’s not in his entourage’s interests to push through a move away either, as the longer he stays in Rome the more his agent Neil Fewings earns. The agent signed a deal with Roma that sees him earn €400,000 every transfer window that the 24-year-old doesn’t leave the Giallorossi.

In the summer of 2023, Chelsea’s €80m buy-back clause will be active, allowing them to invest if they want to bring him home next year. For now though, Abraham is fully focused on life in Rome.
