Manchester City are reportedly interested in Napoli star Piotr Zielinski, and the Partenopei could sacrifice the Poland international if the price is right.

Tuttosport reports Napoli could consider selling Zielinski, who arrived in Naples from Udinese five years ago.

The 27-year-old has a contract until June 2024 and the Azzurri are, according to the newspaper, willing to listen to offers, with a host of European clubs monitoring his situation in Naples.

Manchester City are reportedly in pole position to sign the attacking midfielder, who has played 239 competitive games for Napoli.

Gennaro Gattuso used Zielinski in a more advanced position last season and the player responded with eight goals and 11 assists in 2020-21 – his best return since joining the Partenopei.

Napoli finished fifth in Serie A, one point behind the Champions League places, and might have to sacrifice one of their most valuable players to help the club financially and Zielinski has been mentioned as one of the possible departures.
