Man behind Osimhen move to Galatasaray is revealed

The deal between Victor Osimhen, Napoli and Galatasaray moved remarkably quickly, with a social media clue of the man behind the negotiations.

In the space of a couple of hours, the first report in the Corriere dello Sport of talks with Galatasaray turned into confirmation it was a done deal.

The striker will make the move on loan for free, with the Turkish side covering his entire salary of nearly €11m per season.

Galatasaray directors are said to be flying in to Naples to finalise the paperwork and bring the Nigeria international back with them to Istanbul perhaps as early as tonight.

How Osimhen, Napoli and Galatasaray found agreement so quickly

CalcioNapoli24.it found an intriguing clue as to who is behind this idea and why it was able to move so rapidly.

George Gardi worked as an intermediary for several transfers involving Galatasaray and Italian teams, including Mauro Icardi, Dries Mertens and Nicolò Zaniolo.

He posted an image on his Instagram Stories of a plane in flight, the Galatasaray symbol and a timer.

It is therefore safe to assume that Gardi was involved in the talks and helped facilitate this Osimhen transfer to end an ugly situation at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
