Malinovskyi shares heartbreaking video supporting Ukraine

Ruslan Malinovskyi has been incredibly active on social media lately, providing updates and personal thoughts on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The 28-year-old Ukrainian forward revealed a shirt saying ‘No war in Ukraine’ during Atalanta’s 3-0 win over Olympiacos earlier this week and he’s not been afraid to publicly discuss the situation, expressing his anguish and desire for peace.

Malinovskyi almost lost access to his official Facebook account because of so many reports for spam and propaganda, but he was eventually able to access it again. Discussing the reports on Facebook, he commented:

“Almost lost access to this page by hundreds reports of spam and propaganda on profile photo. Well, they don’t like a truth, but there’s nothing to hide. We won’t give up!”

Malinovskyi has also been incredibly active on Twitter, sharing photos of the devastation in Kiev, posting signs of support to those who have spoken out and now sharing a heartbreaking video intended to bring the Ukrainian people together during this difficult time.

UEFA have stripped St Petersburg of the Champions League final in response to the invasion, and it will now take place in Paris.
