Alberto Malesani is still bitter that he was sacked by Serie A outfit Genoa last season.
The tactician was appointed by the port club in the summer of 2011, but was axed following a 6-1 loss against Napoli in December.
He was recalled on April 2, only to be dismissed again 20 days later.

“There is regret over what happened last term,” he told Radio Toscana. “We were fifth in the table before the loss to Napoli.
“I was sacked because I got the starting line-up wrong. Today, meanwhile, I see certain Coaches remain in their place after six or seven losses…
“I was starting a beautiful cycle before it was inexplicably interrupted. We didn’t play great football, but it was a useful brand for what we had available.”
Genoa are presently second from bottom in the standings. Current boss Gigi Del Neri has lost seven of his eight games in charge.
