He was not the Coach earlier this season when Sassuolo were crushed 7-0, but believes the team is not afraid of another humiliating experience.
“Conceding seven goals in one match is something that happens once in a lifetime,” assured Malesani.
“During the week we worked a great deal on tactics, but you need more than that to do well. There are many components, above all the psychological approach.
“Inter are strong, we know that, but it starts at 0-0 and we are ready to play our game.”
The Nerazzurri are without a victory in 2014 between Serie A and Coppa Italia, while Malesani has mixed memories of San Siro.
“It’s true my teams have often played well here, but without bringing home the results. I’d be happy if we played badly this time round and got the three points!”
