Paolo Maldini is the only Italian to be included in France Football’s all-time dream team.

With the Ballon d’Or that was not awarded for the year 2020 as a result of the COVID pandemic, the publication has presented its all-time dream team.

Paolo Maldini is the only Italian to feature in the XI even though the Milan legend did not win the Ballon d’Or during his playing career.

Juventus’ star Cristiano Ronaldo has also been included in the team alongside Barcelona’s Leo Messi and Napoli legend Diego Armando Maradona.
