Maignan arrives for Milan

Mike Maignan has landed in Milan and will undergo his medical tests with the Rossoneri on Tuesday.

Calciomercato.com reported today the French goalkeeper had reached an agreement with the Rossoneri.

The Lille goalkeeper arrived in Milan on Monday night and according to Gianluca Di Marzio he will undergo his medical tests with the Rossoneri on Tuesday morning.

Sportitalia showed the video of the new Rossoneri goalkeeper arriving at Milan's airport.

Maignan will join Milan in a €15m move from Lille and will sign a €3m-a-year contract for the next five seasons.

His move to the Stadio San Siro pushes Gigio Donnarumma further away from Milan.

The contract of the Italy international expires at the end of the season and according to several reports in Italy he hadn't accepted the club’s €8m-a-year offer to extend his stay in Milan.

Juventus and Barcelona are reportedly interested in securing Donnarumma’s services.

Milan fans have been discussing the future of the 22-year-old goalkeeper and many of them seem to back the club’s decision to end contract talks with the Italy international and sign Maignan instead.
