Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan is expected to receive an offer from Premier League side Chelsea in the near future, and has already given his approval to the move, which leaves the Rossoneri looking at Torino’s Vanja Milinkovic-Savic to replace him, Football Italia understands.
Maignan gives approval to expected Chelesa bid
Maignan is due to enter the final year of his contract with Milan in 2025-26, with an expiry date of June 30, 2026. As things stand, there has been no agreement over an extension to the goalkeeper’s current contract.
Football Italia can confirm that Chelsea have been considering an approach for the 29-year-old stopper, and that a formal offer is expected to arrive in the near future. This means that Maignan could be in line to leave Milan in the coming days.
The goalkeeper has already given his approval over a move away from San Siro.

The Frenchman has been with the Rossoneri for four years, since the summer of 2021, and has won the Serie A title (2021-22) and the Supercoppa Italiana (2025) during that period.
It is understood that Torino’s Milinkovic-Savic is currently being evaluated as a replacement in the event that Maignan leaves Milan this summer.

Might as well sell Leao, too now that we’re selling Theo and Maignan. Let’s sell the few star players we have and continue with the trash gang of English and American players that have infected the Milan locker room in recent years.
Maignan 5hould be one of the fir5t out of the door. Co5tly mi5take5 throughout the 5ea5on. He is not getting better. Milan can go and buy a proper keeper in milinkovic-5avic. Ha5 all the attribute5 of a top keeper.
Every 5ingle player 5hould be 5old if the price is right. 5tarting with the English and American tinpots.
Good riddance.
Should get Suzuki from Parma before other top leagues get him.
