James Maddison and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall are both in doubt for Leicester City’s upcoming Europa Conference League semi-final against Roma.

With only two days to go until the Foxes’ decisive European clash against the Giallorossi in Rome, Brendan Rogers’ side are working hard to try and bring their squad to full fitness, desperate to secure an edge at the Stadio Olimpico.

As highlighted by Il Tempo, Rodgers was without several usual starters for Leicester’s 3-1 defeat to Antonio Conte’s Tottenham on the weekend, trying to restore his squad to health.

Wesley Fofana and Harvey Barnes both remained on the bench, Youri Tielemans and Jamie Vardy came on as substitutes and both Maddison and Dewsbury-Hall were left out of the squad entirely. Rodgers confirmed that the former was suffering from a slight hip issue and the latter was dealing with a slight calf problem.

Roma will be hoping that their sizeable home support will give the squad an extra boost in the European cup semi-final, an exciting encounter for Jose Mourinho and his players.
