The centre-back fought to remain with the Rossoneri on a permanent transfer after a loan spell from Valencia, even lowering his wages.
However, the rapport soured over the last 12 months and he now appears to be on the market.
“We have to talk to the various clubs for our transfer targets, including Rami,” Lyon President Aulas told RMC Sport.

“I am not sure the two things are connected, but I am very happy to host the Rossoneri.”
