Milan are struggling to find buyers for Lucas Paqueta, but Olympique Lyonnais have shown an interest and possible €23m bid.

The Brazilian midfielder cost €38.4m plus bonuses to purchase from Flamengo in January 2019, but has failed to live up to expectations.

He has just one goal and three assists in 44 competitive games for the Diavolo.

Under contract until June 2023, the Rossoneri want to sell so they can fund other transfer deals, such as Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea or Boubakary Soumare of Lille.

However, his poor form means Paqueta has no offers on the table and could therefore be forced to remain at San Siro.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Olympique Lyonnais have made an approach, but it is still very much in the early information-gathering stages.

La Gazzetta dello Sport believe that could very soon be upgraded to a €23m proposal.

Fiorentina had been repeatedly linked, but instead snapped up Giacomo Bonaventura as a free agent when his contract with Milan was allowed to expire.
