Lazio wing-back Senad Lulic is at risk to face Juventus on Friday after requiring surgery on a crushed finger.
A statement from medic Roberto Bianchini this evening confirmed Lulic “injured the fourth phalange in his right hand following an accident outside the training ground.
“The athlete is currently in the operating theatre to resolve the lesion caused by crushing.”
It’s not clear how this happened or whether Lulic will be ready to play Juventus in a crucial Serie A match on Friday evening.

Dusan Basta also missed training today due to a muscular issue, but is given the all-clear to resume tomorrow.
Ravel Morrison, meanwhile, resumed training today after reportedly walking out on the side last week without permission.
He had a meeting with director of sport Igli Tare today.
