Romelu Lukaku’s agent Sebastien Ledure denies the Belgian striker is in talks with Milan: ‘Inter have the ball in their court.’
Multiple sources in Italy have claimed the Rossoneri have opened talks with Lukaku’s representative discussing a possible move over the summer which they can afford, on paper, after the sale of Sandro Tonali to Newcastle.
However, Ledure has told Fabrizio Romano that he hasn’t been in talks with the Rossoneri. It must be noted that Milan owners are on good terms with Lukaku’s agency Roc Nation, so perhaps, a move remains in the cards.
Ledure added that Lukaku wants to continue playing in Europe, confirming that he has snubbed an offer from the Saudi League.
The Belgian forward will return to Chelsea on June 30 after the end of his loan at Inter and the Blues are ready to listen to offers for the 29-year-old.
“Inter have the ball in their court,” concluded Ledure.
Inter director Piero Ausilio met Chelsea directors in London last week, but at the moment Inter can only afford a new loan deal for Lukaku and have not discussed a permanent transfer for the Belgium international.
