As Inter are trying to replace Romelu Lukaku with both Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata and Roma forward Edin Dzeko, the two sides are expected to fight over Torino captain Andrea Belotti.

Romelu Lukaku’s return to Chelsea has a domino effect on the Italian transfer market, as the Nerazzurri are now trying to close a double deal for Zapata Edin Dzeko.

Lukaku to have Chelsea medical tomorrow

Such a move will leave both Atalanta and Roma with a gap to fill in their squads and Belotti has been mentioned as a possible target for both teams.

Calciomercato.com reports the Orobici coach Gian Piero Gasperini targets the Italy international as a perfect fit to replace Zapata at the Gewiss Stadium, whilst Jose Mourinho has been linked with a move for Gallo since his experience at Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

Belotti has taken his time to accept a renewal worth €3.3m with Torino and said no to Zenit St. Petersburg, as the Granata patron Urbano Cairo is only considering offers above €17-18m for the striker.

Tammy Abraham has been mentioned as a possible target for Atalanta too and the report claims the managers at the Gewiss Stadium will meet to discuss with Chelsea between tonight and tomorrow.

Belotti’s future is still uncertain, but he could be ready to leave if the opportunity arises already this summer.
