Michael R. Yormark, President of Roc Nation Sports, took to social media on Sunday urging to ‘stop fake news’ referring to the recent developments regarding their client Romelu Lukaku.

Yormark stepped into the Lukaku transfer saga with an Instagram story posted on Sunday.

It read: ‘Fake news and irresponsible reporting must stop. Focus on facts and the truth.’

Inter have ended negotiations with Chelsea after Lukaku and his lawyer Sebastien Ledure reportedly failed to answer calls from the Nerazzurri directors who were ready to secure his signature on a permanent €40m transfer from Chelsea.

According to several reports, the Belgian is in talks with Inter’s Serie A rivals Juventus.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reported on Sunday that Roc Nation was ready to part company with Lukaku and that negotiations with Juventus have particularly upset the American company.

Gazzetta now confirms Roc Nation is willing to part ways with the Belgian, adding that Yormark’s recent Instagram story referred to previous reports claiming the company had abandoned Lukaku before negotiations with Inter collapsed.
