Romelu Lukaku has named Christian Vieri as well as Brazilian strikers Ronaldo and Adriano as the players he would have loved to play alongside for Inter in a recent interview with the club’s internal media channels.

In the clip, Big Rom also revealed which former Inter player he would have loved to play against, as well as describing his favourite goal that he has scored in his time with the Nerazzurri.

The Belgian international believes he would have developed a good relationship and understanding with Adriano, citing the good personal characteristics.

“As a roommate I would have liked Adriano because he’s a good person,” Lukaku explained.  “Every time I talk to him I feel lots of different emotions.”

“When I was little, people said he was a player who had lots of strength and power, who only used his left foot. When I saw him play I was only 10 years old and he changed everything for me.”

On the pitch, Lukaku would have most liked to play with Ronaldo and Vieri and believes that his style of play would have complimented one particularly well.

“As an attacking partner I would have liked Ronaldo El Fenomeno because he is right-footed and I am left-footed, but for the way he played I would also say Vieri.”

On the former player he would have most enjoyed playing against, Lukaku said: “I would have liked to challenge Materazzi  because he is tall, strong and aggressive and those are the defenders who put you in the most difficulty, and in difficult moments, you improve. The matches against him would have been interesting for people to watch.”

Lukaku then told viewers about his favourite goal that he has scored in his almost-three years with Inter, which came in the Derby della Madonnina during his first stint with the club.

“One of the best goals for Inter was the 3-0 win against Milan . Perisic kicked the ball and Barella and I were there: I asked Nicolò to leave it for me and I saw that there was the space to burst into.

“So, I started running. First off, I wanted to take a double step to the right, but Lautaro was there and I couldn’t give him the ball, so I went to the left, I only saw a small space and I said to myself I had to kick as hard as possible and I scored.”
