Inter star Romelu Lukaku should be available against Milan in the Supercoppa clash, while Simon Kjaer could start for the Rossoneri. Get the latest news on Wednesday’s derby.

Milan and Inter meet in Riyad on Wednesday night in the first Final of the year in Italy, the Supercoppa between last season’s Scudetto and Coppa Italia winners. Both teams trained today and Gazzetta provides the latest updates on the Milanese sides.

Milan

Mike Maignan, Alessandro Florenzi, Fode Ballo-Touré, Rade Krunic and Zlatan Ibrahimovic didn’t train today and won’t be available on Wednesday.

Ante Rebic, on the other hand, worked with his teammates and will be included in Stefano Pioli’s squad list on Wednesday.

Kjaer could start over Pierre Kalulu in defence, but Pioli will make his assessments in the next two days. Alexis Saelemaekers or Junior Messias will get the nod on the right flank.

Probable Milan XI: Tatarusanu; Calabria, Kjaer (Kalulu), Tomori, Theo; Bennacer, Tonali; Saelemaekers (Messias), Diaz, Leao; Giroud.

Inter

Lukaku missed the last two games across all competitions due to a minor injury. He started today’s training session with the rest of the team but continued working separately from the rest of the group in the second part.

Samir Handanovic and Marcelo Brozovic also trained separately due to calf problems. Both are not expected to be available on Wednesday.

Hakan Calhanoglu and Nicolò Barella trained with the rest of the team and will start in the middle of the park along with Henrik Mkhitaryan.

Probable Inter XI: Onana; Skriniar, Acerbi, Bastoni; Darmian (Dumfries), Mkhitaryan, Calhanoglu, Barella, Dimarco; Dzeko, Lautaro.
