La Gazzetta dello Sport explains that Romelu Lukaku is not only missing Inter but also the city of Milan where he didn’t feel as lonely as in London.
The 28-year-old is struggling at Stamford Bridge, where he has only scored ten goals in 28 appearances this season, failing to justify his €113m price tag.
Lukaku pushed to return to Chelsea over the summer but hasn’t settled in at the club and in London. Back in December, he said that he wanted to return to Inter before the end of his career, apologising to Nerazzurri fans for the way he had left over the summer.
He is reportedly willing to return to San Siro at the end of the season, but the Serie A champions have different plans given that they want to cut costs and, on paper, can’t afford the striker’s return.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Lukaku does miss Inter on and off the pitch. He still owns two apartments in Milan, where he could meet his family and isolate himself when he needed.
London is very different, explains the paper. ‘In there, there is nobody who stops him in the streets to give him a caress to the heart,’ the report reads.
‘In Milan, encouragement was the norm. It was the due homage to a king, which turned into gasoline on the field.’

and he literally pissed off everyone in London, even in the club itself within 4 months of his arrival, you can clearly see no one likes him at the moment.
How is he complaining about this?
Did he even try to like his new place?

Dont fool yourself man. If you are brought in for €113m and manage to score 10 goals in 28 games, keep crying and showing love for your previous club and fans and generaly behave like a baby for the entire campaign. Any club and fans would want nothing to do with you! The only reason Interista praised you and treated you like a king was due to the goals you scored and the scudetto.
