Roma are set to announce Romelu Lukaku, with reports in Italy claiming the Belgian will wear the shirt No.90 at the Stadio Olimpico this term.

The former Inter striker landed at Ciampino Airport on Tuesday, welcomed by more than 5,000 cheering fans.

He has already undergone his medical with José Mourinho’s side and Roma will announce his transfer today, Wednesday, August 30.

All Italian sports papers, including Corriere dello Sport, claim Lukaku will wear the shirt No.90 this season.

The 30-year-old wore the same number at Inter last season.

Lukaku will train for the first time with his new teammates today but is not expected to be available against Milan on Friday. The ex-Inter striker has been training separately from the rest of the Chelsea squad throughout the summer.

Lukaku has joined Roma on loan until the end of the season, agreeing to take a pay cut to move to Italy for the third time in his career.
