Romelu Lukaku had absolutely no qualms when asked to join between Inter and Chelsea, or indeed himself and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. ‘Obviously, it’s between success and failure.’
The striker sat down with HLN in Belgium and answered a series of questions on video, asked to pick between two options.
These included Inter or Chelsea.
“Inter,” he immediately shrugged and then laughed.
“Obviously, Inter. I won the Scudetto in Milan, something I had dreamed of since I was a child. I had success in one place and failure in the other.”
There have been some suggestions of a potential return to Chelsea after Antonio Conte left Inter, but Lukaku has been adamant he wants to remain at San Siro.
Among the people he was made to pick between, there was also Lukaku or his Milan rival Ibrahimovic.
“Lukaku, every day of the week. Self love. Self love!” he replied, patting himself on the chest.
