Juventus are interested in Romelu Lukaku, but according to Tuttosport, the Bianconeri are unhappy with Chelsea’s strategy to raise the striker’s price tag while the Nerazzurri continue to push for the Belgian.

Lukaku has returned to Stamford Bridge after the end of his loan spell with Inter, but the Champions League finalists want to bring him back to the Stadio Meazza for the third time.

Juventus are also interested in Lukaku, as confirmed by Il Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport on Sunday.

Chelsea want €45m for a permanent sale of Lukaku and have reportedly informed Inter about the Bianconeri’s interest, irritating the Old Lady, reports Tuttosport.

Chelsea have rejected the Nerazzurri’s opening bid for Lukaku, but are expected to make a new offer as soon as André Onana joins Manchester United.

There is a third club in the frame as according to Il Corriere dello Sport, Chelsea are pushing to send Lukaku to Al Hilal, who offered €45m plus €5m add-ons, but Lukaku’s priority is to return to Inter.

The Rome-based paper claims the Belgian has also reached a verbal agreement with Juventus through his lawyer Sébastien Ledure, but no other media reports the same. Lukaku said in December 2021, a few months after his record transfer to Chelsea, that he’d ‘never’ join the Bianconeri or Milan.
