Lukaku and Dybala in, Dzeko and Alexis Sanchez out for Inter

With Paulo Dybala and Romelu Lukaku seemingly close to arriving, Inter need to start whittling down the squad, with Edin Dzeko, Alexis Sanchez and Arturo Vidal on the way out.

Multiple sources today confirm Dybala is very close to agreeing personal terms with Inter to join as a free agent for circa €6m per season, while Chelsea are prepared to accept under €10m for a one-season Lukaku loan back to his former team.

Inevitably, that means Inter have to start lowering their wage bill and clearing out unwanted players.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Dzeko is the player who will be pushed out the door at San Siro after just one season.

The 36-year-old arrived from Roma for just €1.5m plus bonuses, scoring 17 goals with 10 assists in 49 competitive matches, so more than paid for himself in that time.

Joaquin Correa is a target for Olympique Marseille, according to reports in France, but Inter seem reticent to sell.

Vidal is heading off to Flamengo, while Alexis Sanchez will probably see his contract terminated by mutual consent to get his €7.5m per season wages off the bill.

It’s reported the club could pay him €4m to break the contract early.
