Romelu Lukaku is expected to start in Roma‘s attack against Slavia Praha today and the Belgian forward will be looking to improve his scoring record in the Europa League, having already found the net in 14 consecutive games in the competition.

Lukaku has netted nine times in 12 games across all competitions this season, including one in each of his three Europa League appearances.

The 30-year-old scored a goal in Roma’s 2-0 win over Slavia Praha two weeks ago, managing to find the net in the 14th consecutive match in the competition.

He started his scoring streak in 2014 in Everton’s 2-0 away win over Wolfsburg.

Lukaku will be looking to boost his record today as he’s expected to start in Roma’s attack against Slavia Praha alongside Andrea Belotti. It kicks off at 17:45 GMT and Roma will win their group with two games to spare if they secure all three points in Prague.

Lukaku joined Roma on a dry loan deal from Chelsea last summer, meaning the Giallorossi don’t have an option to make his move permanent in June 2024.

  1. I thought Mourinho was resting Lukaku and Dybala today? You know, since every game is important to him, except, of course, an EL game ahead of the derby.
