“I can’t wait to come to Milan and start training with my new teammates,” 28-year-old Luiz Adriano told Calciomercato.it.
“I am very happy to wear the Milan jersey, as it’s a club of great history and tradition. It’s a dream come true.
“I’m waiting for my work permit and visa to get into China and take part in the pre-season tour. I am following the training regime set by the staff, so I’ll be prepared and ready to start work in the best shape.
“When I think of Milan, I am reminded of all the great Brazilians who played here: Kaka, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and Pato. I played with Alexandre Pato at Internacional and he is a friend. There are also players who made history, like Paolo Maldini and Clarence Seedorf.
“I hope to get more opportunities with the Brazil national team and to do that I must do well at my club. I’ll do everything to get that call.”
