There are reports Luis Alberto is pushing to either get an improved contract or leave Lazio, with interest from Juventus, Inter, Milan and Atletico Madrid.

The Spanish midfielder was a key figure in Simone Inzaghi’s side, but is not sure about how he’ll fit into new boss Maurizio Sarri’s 4-3-3.

According to Il Messaggero and the Corriere dello Sport, Luis Alberto has delayed his return from a summer vacation by several days and won’t join up with his Aquile teammates in Rome until July 14.

This attitude has seemingly infuriated President Claudio Lotito, with Il Messaggero claiming the club is ready to exclude Luis Alberto when he does arrive.

The aim is to either get an improved salary, putting him on a par with Ciro Immobile and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, or to push through a transfer.

Inter are an option with Simone Inzaghi’s presence, as are Milan, but Juventus are also believed to be strongly interested, especially if they tried to offer Federico Bernardeschi as part of the exchange.

The same newspaper maintains that the offers are only around €20-25m, whereas Lazio are hoping to get €50m from Luis Alberto’s sale.
