Luis Alberto seems to be pushing for a move away from Lazio and his representatives have reportedly offered the player to Milan.

The Spanish midfielder didn’t respond to Lazio’s call ahead of the new Serie A season, but coach Maurizio Sarri stressed the management of Luis Alberto’s situation at the Olimpico is down to the club.

The 28-year-old has been linked with a return to his homeland but Corriere della Sera reports the former Liverpool midfielder’s representatives have contacted Serie A rivals Milan.

Report: Luis Alberto still absent and Lotito wants €50m

The Rossoneri reportedly admire the midfielder, but the €50m price-tag set by Lazio President Claudio Lotito makes it an unlikely operation for the Diavolo this summer.

Luis Alberto has played 175 competitive games for the Aquile, including six in the Champions League, but could follow former coach Simone Inzaghi out the door this summer.
