Ahead of a reunion with his former club in the last 32 of the Europa League, the Spaniard insists he's focused on delivering for Lazio and helping them advance to the next round.

"Sevilla represent the team of my heart, but that doesn't mean I'll hold back," he said in the pre-game Press conference.

"I think I'll be able to play, I hope to train as best as possible today.

"It doesn't matter in what position I play, the important thing is to do what is best for the team."

Meanwhile, he also discussed the challenges ahead for Lazio, and is confident that they will be able to come through them.

"All the objectives we have ahead of us are important," he added. "However, if we play like we did over the last month, nothing is impossible."
