Mircea Lucescu advised Juventus to make a move for Chelsea winger Willian, claiming "the Bianconeri would be ideal for him."

Willian is in his last year of his current deal at Stamford Bridge and the Romanian coach claimed it would be better for his former player to change clubs this summer.

“Willian’s contract at Chelsea is expiring, it would be good for him to change it up a bit after all these years in London,” the former Shakhtar Donetsk boss told Tuttosport.

The Brazil international has played 11 games in the Premier League this season, scoring twice in the process.

After an incident between Maurizio Sarri and Cristiano Ronaldo at Allianz Stadium this weekend, Lucescu added that the Portuguese star reminded him of an incident from his time at Inter.

Ronaldo left the pitch in anger after being substituted during the 1-0 win over Milan and left the stadium before the match had finished.

“I have to say that Sarri handled it very well,” Lucescu said about the situation. “It reminded me of a similar episode that occurred during my time at Inter, with the other Ronaldo. Il Fenomeno.”
