The Brazilian midfielder is pushed down the pecking order and also takes up a valuable non-EU spot in the squad.
“Leaving Real Madrid on loan to get more playing time is a possibility,” he told Sport TV.
“In addition there is an excess of non-EU players at Real Madrid. When I get back from my vacation, I will have a meeting with the new Coach to work out the situation.”
Lucas Silva has also been linked with Porto and Deportivo La Coruna as well as Fiorentina.
“Many things have been said in the papers, but it’s all speculation. When I get to Madrid, I’ll begin pre-season training and find out more about my future.
“What I have in mind right now is to continue at Real Madrid.”
The 22-year-old was only signed from Cruzeiro for €13m in January, making eight Liga appearances.
