Barcelona’s Lucas Digne has reportedly been offered to Juventus, who are in the market for a left-back.

According to Calciomercato.com, Digne would ‘willingly return to Italy’, having earned his 2016 transfer to Barca on the back of his performances during a loan spell at Roma.

However, the Frenchman has gone on to make just 44 appearances in two seasons at Camp Nou, failing to displace Jordi Alba in the Blaugrana’s back four.

The website explains Juve sporting director Fabio Paratici ‘knows Digne well’ from his scouting assignments, while the former Paris Saint-Germain defender ‘can leave’ Barca this summer.

The Bianconeri may need two new left-backs as Alex Sandro remains the subject of transfer speculation and Kwadwo Asamoah is expected to run down his contract.
