Lower Juve wage for Lavezzi?

Juventus will reportedly offer PSG winger Ezequiel Lavezzi a reduced salary in January and will have to fight off interest from Barcelona.

The Argentina international is believed to be the Bianconeri’s number one target for the winter window, as his contract expires in June.

Tuttosport have reported that this imminent expiry means the Old Lady could sign Lavezzi for as little as €2/3m, but the real negotiation will be with the salary.

The former Napoli forward currently earns €5m per season in France, but Juve are believed to be offering €3.5m for two years with the option of a third.

Coach Massimiliano Allegri is believed to be impressed by Lavezzi’s tactical flexibility between 4-3-1-2 and 4-3-3, despite the fact that he wouldn’t be able to play in the Champions League this season, having already appeared for PSG.

Although the newspaper believes that Juventus are the frontrunners for the 30-year-old’s signature, Barcelona are believed to also be interested.
