Lazio President Claudio Lotito is reportedly ready to consider another foray into politics by running to be Mayor of Rome.
According to newspaper Leggo, the club patron is being courted by the right-wing Forza Italia and Lega Nord groups to run against current Mayor Virginia Raggi.
It wouldn’t be the first time, as Lotito already ran for a Senate seat in 2018 with Silvio Berlusconi’s Forza Italia party, missing out by a narrow margin.
