Lazio President Claudio Lotito insists that Maurizio Sarri will remain at the club and is not concerned by criticism from Lazio fans for high ticket prices.

Some Biancocelesti supporters are unhappy to see the price of tickets raise for the upcoming home match against Milan, but Lotito doesn’t seem bothered.

“It happens for each of the four big games of the season. We are one of the teams with the lowest prices for the rest of the campaign,” he told Il Messaggero newspaper.

“I spent €300,000 per game between stewards, policemen, firefighters and staff. Incomes go into a bank account belonging to the tax office. Lazio get nothing.

“I feel that all this noise is coming from fans who would not come to the stadium anyway or those who would come only to insult me.”

Lotito revealed at the end of 2021 that he had reached an agreement for Maurizio Sarri’s contract extension, but a new deal hasn’t been announced yet.

“Give me time. As I’ve always said Maurizio will stay,” Lotito confirmed.
