The FIGC has decided that Salernitana patron Claudio Lotito has until June 25 to sell the club, as he is also the owner of Lazio.

Lotito’s other club secured promotion from Serie B this term and Lotito can’t own two clubs in the same division, thus will be forced to sell one of the two.

The Federal Council in Rome have decided Lotito must sell the newly promoted side by June 25 this summer.

Salernitana will be refused admission to Serie A if the ownership doesn’t change by that date, forcing Lotito to act immediately.
