“The sad events that occurred in the match between Serbia and Albania are obviously a one-off,” the Aquile President has commented today.

“It’s appropriate and correct to point out the very different people that football brings together.

“This is what is happening at Lazio – Cana, Berisha, Basta and Djordjevic represent feeling of brotherhood.

“There are no political differences, on the contrary we have a harmonious union of people and countries.

“It’s a further example of what football can teach politics.”
