Torino striker Maxi Lopez says the Granata ‘believe until the end’ in their ability to secure a Europa League spot.

Giampiero Ventura’s side can close the gap to sixth-placed Sampdoria to three points if they beat the Blucerchiati’s city rivals Genoa tonight.

“We’re a bit further back than the others,” Lopez admitted in an interview with Sky ahead of the match.

Giampiero Ventura’s side can close the gap to sixth-placed Sampdoria to three points if they beat the Blucerchiati’s city rivals Genoa tonight.

“We’re a bit further back than the others,” Lopez admitted in an interview with Sky ahead of the match.

“That said, we have four games left and we believe until the end. Today we’ll have to give a great performance against an aggressive team which plays good football.

“I’m happy with Torino, I’m trying to give my all and help the team achieve the goals which we set ourselves when I arrived.

“I hope I can give something extra to help us take that last step.”
