Cagliari Coach Diego Lopez insists they had reason to complain about the referee and VAR decisions too in a draw with Crotone.
The Calabrese club had a last-gasp winner disallowed for a seemingly non-existent offside position.
“We had two incidents go against us as well, as I don’t think that was a penalty, but I will admit that there was no offside on that late Crotone goal. These are mistakes, but I prefer to talk about the performances,” Lopez told Sky Sport Italia.

“There was a big difference between the first and second half approach from my players. We were missing a lot of key figures and the team showed they were up to the task. We gave our answer on the pitch and I knew they were ready for battle.
“When we went a man down, we remained concentrated and composed, everyone helping each other out. Marco Sau was meant to start, but he failed a fitness test.”
