The Isolani welcome the champions to Turin in the final match before the winter break, and the Coach is hoping to see an impressive performance.

“Morale is excellent, we’re coming off a good win in Bergamo,” Lopez told journalists in his pre-match Press conference.

“There we were poorer out of possession than against Roma, but we did better in front of goal. If it had been 3-0 for us in Bergamo after half an hour there could have been no complaints.

“We had three very good counter-attacks, we don’t forget that we’re Cagliari and not Barcelona, who have the obligation to always go and play openly.

“There were a lot of good things about the first goal, even if you want to call it ‘lucky’. We worked hard for that goal, because we knew Atalanta left the penalty spot and the back post free.

“Tomorrow we’re facing another great team and we can only achieve results by playing as a team, giving 110 per cent and doing well in both phases.

“We have to play, and we have to do even better than in the previous games.

“We know we’re facing a great team but we have to do it with courage, knowing we can play as a team.

“To deal with them individually we have to work as a team. Tomorrow everything will be difficult if we give them time to think, we need to get in the opponents’ faces.

“We’ve worked hard to be ready to face them, even if it’s difficult to keep it up for 90 minutes.

“A match against Juventus prepares itself from a motivational point of view, we need to do our best to give our fans a lift.

“It’ll be a sellout and there will be plenty who can’t get in to the Sardegna Arena. We’ll have to give them a reason to look at the opponent’s goal, that’s for sure.

“It’s difficult, but it’s not impossible.”
