Ademola Lookman is a profile we need to keep an eye on for the next transfer session, as while Atalanta haven’t opened the door yet, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray interest remains strong.

We had already talked about this situation, and can now add that so far Atalanta will postpone any evaluation for the next few weeks.

Following his turbulent summer going AWOL and returning to base after a failed push to join Inter, the rapport has been stitched back up to a degree.

The Nigeria international is finding his form and let us also not forget that he will be one of the protagonists in the Africa Cup of Nations.

While the reports from Turkish media have stepped up over the last 48 hours, the truth is that interest has been there for months.

Fenerbahce had even tried just a few days after the transfer window closed in Italy, but their proposal was rejected.

We can confirm that Galatasaray also appreciate Lookman and would relish a reunion with his Nigerian teammate Victor Osimhen, but there is no concrete offer yet.

If and when those bids do come in, Atalanta can decide how to proceed, but it all depends on which proposals arrive.
