Ademola Lookman is one of five players to be added to Gian Piero Gasperini’s travelling Atalanta squad to face Inter in Serie A at the weekend, following 2-1 loss away to Torino last time out.

Lookman returns to Atalanta squad

Lookman is back in the squad after a brief spell training away from the first team, which happened after a brief approach from Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month. His return to the group comes at a good time for Gasperini, who will have to do without the injured Nicolo Zaniolo in San Siro.

Club captain Rafael Toloi is also in the travelling squad for the first time this season. He had missed large chunks of the 2023-24 campaign through muscular injuries.

Three new Atalanta signings have also been included in the squad. Rauol Bellanova gets his first call-up after securing a move away from last weekend’s opponents, Torino.

Juan Cuadrado and Rui Patricio, both of whom were picked up on free transfers, have also been included in the squad. Both players officially arrived last week.
