Ademola Lookman has well and truly found his niche with Atalanta, as in his debut Serie A season, he has already scored more goals than in the last four experiences with Everton, RB Leipzig, Fulham and Leicester City put together.

The Nigeria international, born and raised in London, has been a sensation since the move to Bergamo over the summer.

This evening he found the net against Sampdoria with a wonderful solo effort, that saw him nutmeg Nicola Murru and sell Bram Nuytinck a dummy.

That was his 12th Serie A goal in just 19 games for Atalanta in his debut Italian campaign, his 14th in 20 matches including the Coppa Italia.

Last season, he managed only six in the Premier League on loan at Leicester City, plus two in the EFL Cup, the year before that four with Fulham and in 2019-20 he failed to find the net in 13 appearances for RB Leipzig.
