Frosinone President Maurizio Stirpe says Coach Moreno Longo is “almost untouchable” and wouldn’t have been sacked even if they’d lost at the weekend.
The Canarini finally got their first win of the season away at Spal, but the tactician’s job was never at risk.
“Longo would have stayed even in the case of a loss,” Stirpe told Corriere dello Sport.
“Moreno is almost untouchable. It’s true that I expected more from the first 10 rounds but we can’t forget where we started from.

“If we’re not in a desperate position we’ll strengthen in January, the important thing is to be competitive.
“Joel Campbell? I have to thank him, not everyone would leave a big club to come to Frosinone.”
